Enrollment periods

Learn about the different enrollment periods for Medicare Advantage Plans.

Late enrollment penalty

If you don’t join a Medicare drugs plan when you re first eligible, and/or you go without creditable prescription drug coverage, you may have to pay a late enrollment penalty.

Creditable coverage

When you prescription drugs coverage is at least as much or more than Medicare Part D.
